Jason Baumle
Jason has been working in the wellness field since 2000. Upon returning from teaching English in Japan where he was immersed in his passion for Eastern philosophies, Jason entered the Holistic Health Practitioner program at Grant MacEwan College, in Edmonton Alberta, in the fall of 1998. Immediately after his graduation he was invited to return to the program to be an assistant instructor. Building upon his passion for teaching he completed his Reiki (Japanese stress relief practice) teacher training in the spring of 2001.
In 2002 Jason co-founded the Dharmadhatu wellness company in Edmonton, Alberta. He began teaching Reiki classes throughout Alberta in 2002. Jason works with clients on a one to one basis as well as in classes. He also facilitates courses and seminars to businesses throughout Alberta and he continues to build clientele in his holistic health practice.
In the spring of 2004 he began working for the Excel Society as a holistic health practitioner for adults with developmental disabilities. He gained a lot of experience researching medications and various disabilities. In his role with the Excel Society Jason worked directly with clients to support their wellness and he also worked with the care giving staff to consider and understand disabilities and their accompanying conditions in holistic/multidimensional terms. He also participated in interdisciplinary (with psychiatrists, nurses, etc) meetings to develop strategies and programs for clients, staff and family members.
In the fall of 2004 Jason was invited to join the faculty of the Holistic Health Practitioner program at Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton, Alberta. He has taught in nine different courses in the program demonstrating his passion and interest in many aspects of human being and wellness.
Jason works with clients and students on problems ranging from stress, anxiety, menstrual disorders, infertility and relationship challenges, to job frustrations, acute, chronic, and terminal illnesses with a highly developed empathetic and holistic perspective.
