History
Dharmadhatu was established in 2001. It began as a holistic health practice where Jason Baumle and Susanne Lerohl worked together with clients to facilitate relaxation and develop wellness plans. They began speaking to businesses in and around Edmonton, Alberta in the summer of 2003. In 2004 they began facilitating and teaching classes under the Dharmadhatu business name.
The Dharmadhatu Institute was established in 2009 with Susanne and Jason as directors of the organization. The Dharmadhatu Institute was established as a natural progression out of the work done over the years. This organization is prepared to further the exploration and development of contentment. On behalf of the organization, Baumle and Lerohl facilitate presentations, seminars and personalized meetings intent on the discovery and realization of contentment.
Based in Edmonton, Alberta Canada Susanne and Jason continue to work with clients in a one on one private meetings as well as facilitate classes and seminars. Both have experience working with individuals that are dealing with distress, anxiety, depression, developmental as well as acquired disabilities, allergies, infertility, pain, and death.
Dharmadhatu (dar-ma-da-too) is a term used in Mahayana Buddhist traditions. It names the equality of truth embodied in the vulnerability and sincere happening in everything that is. It is a sincere and humble acknowledgement that every form of being is inspired and bound to unfold in expression.
